Research
Using a number of research methods including, app analysis’s of other service pervading apps, surveys featuring local college students, personas and site visits of students who currently provide beauty services in alternate ways around campus. Our research helped give us a direction to start to dive into the ideation of the app.
Ideate
To plan what took highest priority within our app we mapped out what we felt as though was important via card sorts, affinity diagrams, and process flowcharts and a fully prototyped wireframe. To create the final design we made a design system to follow in the process of designing each page, ensuring a cohesive app.
